Filter to eliminate nitrates

Filter to eliminate nitrates, nitrites, manganese and chlorates   consist of holder, filter body and special ionex resin NRC for eliminating nitrites, nitrides and chlorates from potable water. NRC Filtration cartrifge is filled with anionic ionex resin, which is designed for eliminating of nitrides, nitrates, manganese and chlorates in all concentrations from potable water z pitné vody. The process is called ion exchange.

This filter doesnť require any special manitenance. The only process you need to do is regularly regenerate the filter by brine (solution of salt in water) or use the new cartridge when needed (Lifetime of cartridge is usually 3-5 years).

Regeneration of the filter cartridge NRC

1. Close the water inlet. Turn on the cold water faucet to release the water pressure,
2. Using the wrench provided, unscrew the white lower part of the filter (filter body)
3. Pour out the water from the filter container and remove the NRC filter cartridge, let it drain
4. Pour 3-4 liters of saturated salt solution into the suitable container, insert a filter cartridge into the brine for about 10 - 15 minutes (a maximum of 0.16 kg of salt dissolves in 1 liter of water)
5. Move the inserted cartridge in the brine to enable brine entering the inside of the catrridge.
6. Once the regeneration is finished, rinse the cartridge with water and insert it back to the filter. Using the wrench, fasten properly.
7. Turm on the cold water and rinse the filter from the rests of salt (cca 5 litrů water).
8. Filter is ready to be used again.
